Introducing Jonathan Furniss, Consultant for Lean/Business improvement, Asset Management and Industry 4.0 Assessments.

Jonathan has over a decade of hands-on lean manufacturing experience, implementing and coaching at all levels across a wide range of industries and understands the universal manufacturing challenges faced by large organisations and SME’s.

Having held roles in running capital projects, quality, technical and operations he has a wide breadth of experience working within businesses and understands the needs and drivers of the key stakeholders. Jonathan works directly with the manufacturing teams to drive performance and accountability resulting in engaged teams capable of delivering results.

Jonathan has a proven track record of bringing automation and world leading technologies into NZ businesses, driven by his passion for working smarter not harder. He is committed to help NZ businesses capture the competitive advantages of Industry 4.0 and has experience on balancing the benefits of new technology against the risks. His experience also lends itself to management of the current asset base ensuring optimal utilisation of assets.

Justin Flitter founded NewZealand.AI in 2017 to support business leaders keen to learn and leverage Artificial Intelligence in their organisations.

In 2019/20 Justin represented NZ on the Global Partnership for AI. And is a sought-after conference speaker, and media commentator.

Justin has presented to 100’s of companies, sharing the latest AI for Business information and helping their leadership teams develop AI implementation strategies.

He hosts the monthly AI Show meetups attended by ~200 business leaders and technical professionals.

In partnership with The AI Forum, he produced AI-Day in 2028/19, the two largest AI conferences in New Zealand.

Previously Justin founded one of the first Business Incubators in NZ in 2000, founded the Wellington Young Professional Group in 2005, and the Auckland Social Media Club in 2010. And has been a producer and emcee of TEDxAuckland since 2012.
